Making Home Safer
The Senior Home Repair Program evaluates homes for safety and provides essential repairs, home modifications and accessibility improvements. The goal is to help older adults continue living independently and comfortably in their own homes.

A licensed health professional evaluates the home and homeowner concerns.

More Than a Repair
Dona Ana County Shower Repair
A senior homeowner reached out to the Senior Home Repair and Modification Program for assistance with a bathroom modification. She was experiencing difficulty safely completing her daily activities and needed a safer way to access her shower.
Through the program, our team was able to assist with a bathroom modification that included a walk-in shower, creating a safer and more accessible space in her home.
After the work was completed, she contacted our team to express her appreciation and share how much the improvement has meant to her. She told us that she now feels safer in her bathroom and that the modification has made a meaningful difference in her daily life.
